Tree Shot

I named this shot after a friend of mine from the past. His name is Harry Crabtree and we call him the “Tree”. I freaked out when he first showed me this shot and have been in love with it ever since.

We are playing 8 ball and my opponent has me completely sewed up on the 8. At least that is what he thinks.

The 8 ball can be made by shooting “whitey” into the rail with a short bottom left stroke. Shoot with the butt of your cue raised slightly over the center diamond on the short rail. “Whitey” will move down the table, make an arc to the right and knock in the 8. Oh! How sweet it tis!
